The results from the questionnaire state that 100% of the participants understood our short film which was a great result. Throughout the production of The Forgotten Truth we were worried that the storyline was too complex, however the results show that it in fact was understandable. furthermore, all of the participants said that they liked the film which was rewarding.
What is interesting to note is that some of the participants weren't in our target audience's age range, the graph on the right shows the demographic of the participants. This result meant that our film was appealing to a larger age range than we originally thought which was a bonus.
The best result was the age certificate opinion. 73% of our audience thought that the age certificate should be a 15 for our final cut. We were extremely worried that our film wouldn't fit into its required BBFC rating without the audience feeling the same way, but looking at theses results it is clear that the majority of the participants felt that it did.
As an added bonus, most of the participants rated our film 5/5, which we were very pleased with. The only real criticism we got was that the characters could have done with a little more dialogue, despite this, I am happy with our final cut.
