Editing the forgotten truth has taken a long time as there has been lots of different scenes to be out in chronological order and then to be cut and placed in the right place. It has took a while as we have had to find lots of different effects to give the film the right mood feel at certain times. For example in one scene Lily and Damian are in a restaurant and they are very happy at this moment in time so we had to find an effect that would help to enforce this as there is no dialogue within this scene. The effect we have chosen has given the scene a pink tint as we believed that this helped to show the audience that they are in love.
It has taken a while to get all the rolls in the sound correct so that all the audio flows together well without it having any breaks or blips. Choosing and downloading the sound is taking a long time as if the sounds don't fit correctly with not only the images but with the story then the audience might not understand what is going on.
At the moment in time I have been experimenting trying to design a title that will flicker fast enough to be able to see the text and yet be able to read it. I have tried many ways and the one that has turned out most successful is by having normal unmoving text and cutting it up so that there is gaps between it. The gaps are only milliseconds so this means that the text flickers. Also as a group we have decided to import our logo off our group poster onto the beginning of our film to link the two together.
The title sequence that is one the rough cut of our film took at long time to create as, I had to cut apart simple bits of text and a line them to fit perfectly on screen together before copying and pasting them about 10 times. I did this and then separated the grouped bits of text by a few milliseconds. This gave the text a flickering effect which is now what is on the film.
