Harry Potter Radio Trailer
This radio trailer consist of the sound from the film that allows the audience to be able to identify which scene it is from in the film (if they have already seen the film). It starts with the main score / theme song which in todays society people will associate with harry potter. However, this is a very unusual radio trailer as it has Randy Thom talking about how some of the sound effects in the film were made.
Doctor Who Radio Trailer
This is a radio trailer showing advertising the new doctor who. `Faces` is a reference to the fact that it is now a new actor who is playing the doctor and it is also part of the TV programme as the doctor has been reborn `regenerated`. This trailer starts with the theme song of the start up for the doctor who TV programme, this hooks the audience as they will be well aware of the fact it is a doctor who trailer as it is a very well known programme and has been around for a number of years.
Country Nights Radio/TV trailer
This radio trailer is advertising a programme called Country Nights.The trailer is engaging and has a lot of dialogue on it to inform the audience about the programme. The trailer tells the audience when it will be shown on TV and on which channels, it also specifies that the programme will be played on BBC Radio 2. It has a happy and yet catchy tune in the background that is more than likely associated with the programme itself. This helps the audience to link sounds/songs with different programmes so that when one of the songs is heard the audience will know exactly which film/TV programme it is from.
BBC iPlayer Radio Trailer
This radio trailer is also used as a TV advert, it has all the information about the app/website it is advertising. It is upbeat and made entertainable so that the audience is kept engaged through out the advert. The dialogue informs the audience about the new app and how to find it. As the trailer is in simple terms and has bits from real radio programmes on it , it will draw the audience in.
