The Forgotten Truth Rough Cut Analysis

            

This is the rough cut of our film The Forgotten Truth. So far we are happy with the background music of the film as we think it fits in well with what's happening with the film. I think that we have a good amount of shots so that it makes it more interesting to watch and also, the rhythm of the editing changes with the pace of the film to create a more on edge effect for the audience. I think the main weakness of the film would be the clarity of the storyline, we are yet to add a voice over to the film which will hopefully improve the storyline. We are also going to change all of the memory scenes to black and white to show that they are all what Damian is remembering and that Lilly is not really there. We have one of the memory scenes in the cafe where we put a pink filter over it. We did this to make the scene look more romantic and show Damian's feelings for Lilly before he turned mentally ill, but I think we will turn that scene black and white as well so that the film is more consistent. We are hoping to improve the sound effects during the death scene as we got them off of the internet and I don't think they fit in with the shots well. We will do this by recording our own punching and kicking sounds.
