After gaining a response from an online questionnaire, we decided to gain a wider perspective on the genre and aspects that made our film up we need more responses from different people so we asked people around college to read our synopsis and give their feedback.
The results were as follows:
1. What genre do you think our film would be? Most said our film would be a psychological thriller, making our expected genre accurate
2. What age rating would you give the film? As a few people said 18, 12 and 15, the range of answers could vary between what people usually watch, this response was quite unreliable however as peoples films preferences differ, they may not understand entirely what a certain film certificate represents. Therefore we based our film around a 12A/15 as most gave us this response.
3. Would you watch our film?
This response was good as not everyone likes the genre psychological thriller, so to see that mostly everyone would watch our film was relieving.
4. Do you think the storyline is easy to follow? As the result were half and half, we decided that we needed to adjust the film slightly, by maybe adding a voiceover on the actual film to make the story line more clear. As most said the film was confusing however this is what made it so interesting.
5. What do you like about our film? It was mostly the response of the twist at the end that we received here, giving us confidence that the story idea would be an interesting one to follow through with.
6. What sort of music do you think should be played in the film? The response told us jumpy, scary and tense music would be expected, which is what we planned to do.
7. Where do you think you would see our film? Although the feedback was varied, we feel our film would only appear on Youtube as it's short.
