In order to plan out our filming day accurately we have decided to create Shooting Packs to make a list of shots, props and characters that we will need on each day, preparing us for the creation of our film. Companies will do this before hand to show the production team what will be happening on particular days as a shot by shot guide for the film. The entire planning stage for our film will be the heart and soul of the production and if we were to do this professionally, by getting things right, it would save us time and money.
Background info
- A shooting pack is usually created by the assistant director who will work with the production team and ma manage the shooting schedule.
- It's basically a timeline stating when and where the film will take place
I found a shooting guide for the film Poltergeist:
