Research into how to fake beat someone up

In this clip it tells the actors how to throw a punch without actually hitting the other actor. This will be good for our film as in one scene we need to show that Damian is beating up Lily and we will need to throw some fake punches.

We are looking into how to make a fake beating look like it really happened.

In the beginning part of this clip of The Family it shows you a half comical way to beat someone up. I know that our film isn't comical but this shows us how we can use camera angles and shots to make it look like it really is happening. A lot of the hitting in this clip is shot from his point of view with some shots of the weapon hitting the person.








In this clip from Kick-Ass  could be of use to our group as it has fast editing from different angles and different characters to show that a fight is happening and the injuries they are sustaining.




An A2 group from 2010 have beaten their character up in a good way by having the screen very dark and beating the person up with the lamp that they are holding. This way the audience knows that someone has been killed but doesn't see the death itself.
