Fake violence/ fighting

I am researching into how we can make our fighting scene (when Damon is beating Lilly to death) look realistic without having real violence.


                                 

Here I found a clip on how to practice a stage fighting scene which I thought could be useful also on camera. They suggest that you only do about 75% of the speed of a real punch. Which for on camera could then be sped up to look more brutal/real.


                                

I also found a clip on how to do sound in a fake stage fight. We plan on adding sound effect of punching and kicking that we will record to our film footage to make it sound more realistic and like it is actually happening.
