Duration of film- 5 minutes
Audience- Our film classification would be a 12A due to the blood shown and violence in 1 of the scenes where his wife is beaten to death, there isn't or very little aggressive use of strong language so wouldn't need to be a 15. The main type of person who would watch the film we think would be both male and female teenagers as films such as Donnie Darko are made for those type of people and I feel our film is quite similar in the way of mystery and psychology. Both genders would be able to interact with the main character from the outset and throughout because of their persona being alike to many main characters such as Teddy Daniels from Shutter island.
Synopsis/Summary- The film starts off with a man, Damian looking at a photo of a woman who is his wife, Lily (its a wedding photo).
There are small flashbacks of Damian and Lily together, talking and embracing.
He then says he will find her and she isn't forgotten.The film then switches to a vision of the woman speaking to the man saying all is not lost and that she isn't far away.
Damian then sets off in search of his wife by walking down a corridor, following shadowy figures with her back turned to him then the screen darkens. (then the screen comes back to a different location in his mind) his wife is not there. But there are fast flickers of her presence, that go into her being beaten up and killed. But you don't see who it is.
Camera then pans to a sign stating that they are stood outside of a mental institute.
Damian never left the mental home and it goes back to reality. He goes under his bed and pull out a knife. Close up Knife on shot then goes off shot and comes back on covered in blood, to show he has stabbed himself.
Doctor enters the room with another person in a lab coat and finds Damian dead on the floor and they are holding a case file, indicating that he was in fact a patient at the hospital and couldn't deal with the fact that he murdered his wife. They open the file and the audience see the full clip of who killed his wife.
Damian is dead, blood on his hand that goes onto the photo of B and then the audience sees a tear of blood run down character As face and onto the face of his wife on the photo.
