Film Certificate after questionnaire

BBFC classification certificate 15

After finding out on our questionnaire that most of our target audience believed our film was classification 15 rather than 12A I have decided to change the certificate age to a 15.
For a film to be of classification 15 it most fit some criteria.
15 films will involve strong violence which is shown in our film when Damian Kills lily by beating her to death.
There will also be frequent strong language, this happens twice within our short 5 minuet film. 
Other things that can be seen in 15 films is portrayals of sexual activity

  strong verbal references to sex

  sexual nudity

  brief scenes of sexual violence or verbal references to sexual violence

  discriminatory language or behaviour

  drug taking

Even though there is no sexual references within or film I do believe that due to its violent nature it would fit into a 15 classification certificate rather than a 12A.
