Locations

The locations we used in the forgotten truth were mainly inside the same building.
Park scene

The park that we used for the 1st memory scene was opposite college . We chose this location as it was easy for all members of the group to get to and was fit for the purpose. For example, this scene is in the film to show one of Damian and Lily's happy moments in the period of their relationship. The location was good as we were able to get a range of different shots and use the props (benches) that were already in the park to our advantage.


Hospital Room scene + death scene

This scene was filmed in colleges nursing room that health and social students use. We though that this location was fitting for what we wanted to do. We made sure that when filming in this location we didn't have any of the tables and chairs that were in that room on screen. It was tricky to film in this room as we had to Position the camera in the right places. We used the same location to film the scene where Damian kills himself we used the rail that is attacked to the celling to hang the main character


File Room


This scene was filmed in one of the music class rooms in college as, we needed an empty space with a filing cabinet in it to use as a prop. We used this specific room as the room looked a little clinical and a bit like an office with the computer and files lying around. This room helped to add emotion to this dramatic scene as the lighting is bright and sterile looking.





Corridor 1

we used this corridor/ room as it meant that the audience was able to see that there are other rooms surrounding the room that Damian enters. We left it up to the audiences imagination to think about what or who could be in one of theses rooms.









Corridor 2

 we used this corridor as It had points which looked dark and unable to reach. We did this to try and make it seem like Damian was trying to get to Lily and yet never seemed to get closer and by the end when they reach the film room he has reached her.









Stairs 

 We used these stairs as they are not the main stairs that people use at college, this made them safe to use as we wouldn't be in the way of hundreds of people. Also, the landing at the top of these stairs meant that we could position the camera anywhere and still get a good clean shot.
