We need a location where Damian will be staying in in the mental institute. This needs to be clear to the audience that it is not his home bedroom and that he is being held there as he is mentally ill. The audience will then find this out later in the film and it will make more sense to them. We want this room to be plain, and look like a hospital room.
We have found a room in our college that looks like a hospital room. The walls are plain and white and it will give the audience the impression that Damian is somehow unwell.
Corridor scene/s:
We need a place where it shows that Damian is going looking for Lily when he thinks he can see her. We need it to be an inside location so that he can chase her into the file room, this is when he finds out what he has done.
We have found some good corridors in our college that have plain white walls and still give the impression that he is inside a mental institute.
We thought that the lighting for the long corridor was good for our film as it looks a bit shadowy and makes it look more intense when Damian it chasing after Lily.We took down the signs around the places that se were filming to make the scene look more realistic and more like a mental institute.
Memory Park Scene:
We need a location where Damian can have a flash back of him and Lily to show that he is remembering her, and remembering that they used to have good times together. This scene needs to show the audience what their relationship was like before Damian was put inside a mental institute,
We found a small park over the road from our college which we though had the right atmosphere for our film. It included clear paths for them to walk down & some benches that we we able to film them having a good time with each other.
We also thought this scene would be good for the memory scene as there is a lot of shadows from the trees so it could make the scene look more mysterious as shadows can be conventions of psychological thrillers.
Lily's death scene:
For this scene we need somewhere for Damian to beat up Lily. We need this to be a private place so that it would look more realistic for if it would really happen in real life. We think that by using somewhere that looks like the characters home it will emphasise the fact that they did used to be happy together as they had a house together. We thought that it would be good if there were a lot of things such as memorabilia around the house so that the audience can see that they have made good memories together and to show how close they were before Damian started to turn mentally ill.
File Room Scene:
For the 'File room scene' we needed a place that looked official but also didn't look too posh. We found a room in our college that looked like it could be situated in a mental institute. We wanted this to be the place where Damian finds out that he has killed Lily and that's why he is in there. This room had a filing cabinet and some desks in which could be good for our film as it looks basic and minimal as the mental institute wouldn't pay out for expensive, modern technology. We could then use the filing cabinet for when Damian find his file for the institute. 
Cafe Memory Scene:For this scene we need a place where Damian and Lily can have a nice memory together before Damian turned mentally ill. We found this cafe/restaurant in our college that looked like a good place for them to have a meal together in the film as a flashback. The lighting in here is bright with yellowy/ orange tints to it, which would be good for the atmosphere as it could make it look more homely and romantic.
