Rough cut of film- questionnaire analysis

Here are the results for the rough cut of our film. We have notice that all of the responses are from people with the age range of 17-20 which is not a wide range. We would have hoped for a wider age range so that we could get more variety of results.

When we asked the audience if the film made sense to them they all said that it did. This is important as we were worried that our storyline was going to be too complex for the audience to understand. Although, we are still going to add a voiceover on top of the footage so that it will clear up the storyline more. It is important the the storyline eventually makes sense to the audience otherwise they will become uninterested and may stop watching.

We then asked the audience if they liked the audio that we had added to our film so that we could see if the sounds set the right atmosphere and matched the film. 80% of the results said that they liked it. We were happy with this result as it is high. Also we are adding a voiceover the the film so this may improve the overall sound of it.

When we asked the audience what the age rating of our film would be the majority said that they would rate it at a 12, which is not what we were expecting as we had previously had to raise the age certification because there is violence and strong language in the film. When we have finished our final film we will make another questionnaire seeing what the audience will say the age rating of our final product would be. We will also refer back to the BBFC website and decide on what certification our film will be.
